Dear Sun Peaks Residents;
There are currently positive COVID-19 cases in Sun Peaks as confirmed by Public Health Officials in Vernon. They believe it is not at a crisis point at this time and have not issued a formal public announcement.
I would stress that regardless if there are no cases or even multiple confirmed COVID -19 cases, the recommendations of social distancing, mask wearing and hand washing are still advised.

- For testing without physician referral, via the Public Health office in Kamloops 250-851-7467 Monday to Friday
- Or via the Urgent Primary Care and Learning Centre 250-314-2256 at the weekends.
From now on we plan to update this message weekly or as any new information is released from local Public Health officials.
