If you have an emergency, phone 911 immediately.

When placing a call to the BC Ambulance Service Dispatch Centre, the following information is vital:

  1. In what town/city is the patient located?
  2. Where is the ambulance needed?
  3. What is the caller’s and/or patient’s telephone number?
  4. What is the medical problem with the patient?
  5. What is the approximate age of the patient?
  6. Is the patient awake (yes or no)?
  7. Is the patient breathing (yes or no)?
